Exclusive Tape Wounds Premiere: elbowsway - blunt knives VIDEO

Tape Wounds is thrilled to present the exclusive premiere of the brand-new music video for "blunt knives" by post-shoegaze / alt-metal outfit elbowsway.

If you’ve been following Tape Wounds from the very beginning, you might remember that elbowsway were featured in the magazine's very first issue. Seeing their journey continue and sharing this next chapter feels special.

Directed and filmed by Dior Matchanov and Vladislav Lee, the video brings viewers right inside the band’s creative sanctuary: the "reptochqa" studio in Tashkent. Because this is the exact room where their EP common sense was written and recorded, the space serves as a deeply personal, lived-in backdrop for the visuals.

"blunt knives" tackles the disorientation of a mid-twenties crisis through a raw, stripped-back arrangement and a wandering stream of consciousness. It’s a track that explores the feeling of being suspended in time—reflecting on old missteps, tamed ambitions, and worn souls, while somehow finding the strength to keep pushing forward anyway.
